Cognitive-support formulations: formats and combinations

"Cognitive support" is a product-development label for formulas in the mental-wellness space. In practice, most of these products are combinations. A mushroom extract may sit beside vitamins, herbs or oils in one serving.

Common combination patterns

  • Mushroom plus B vitamins, pairing a botanical story with familiar nutrients.
  • Mushroom plus adaptogenic herbs, such as ashwagandha, for stress-themed lines.
  • Mushroom blends, where lion's mane is one of several fungi.
  • Mushroom plus fish oil, usually as separate capsules in one pack.

The NeurOasis® branded page lists ashwagandha, fatty acids, B vitamins and vitamin C as category context. It notes that NeurOasis® itself contains lion's mane only.

Format notes

  • Capsules and tablets. Check flow and compression alongside your other actives. Large combined servings can raise the capsule count.
  • Gummies. Check heat exposure during depositing and any flavour carry-over.
  • Powder sticks and sachets. Check blend uniformity and segregation between powders of different density.
  • Oil-based actives. These are hard to mix with dry powders, so consider a dual-format pack.

Where FC fits

The NeurOasis® product listing covers capsules, tablets, powder sticks, gummies, sachets and beverages. FC supplies NeurOasis® from a global partner. Its branded identity can sit beside other named ingredients on a combination label.

Planning the formula

List every active and its intended serving before you choose a format. Check the total fill weight against capsule or sachet size early. Run a small pilot blend and test it before you order full batches of each ingredient.

What to ask your supplier

  • Particle size and bulk density for blend planning.
  • Moisture content and storage advice.
  • Marker results, so you can check them again in the finished blend.
  • Microbiology and heavy metal data for the combined product file.
  • Allergen and vegan statements that align with your other ingredients.

In a combination product, each claim must suit the rules of every market where you sell it. Some markets also limit which ingredients may be combined. For formulation questions, WhatsApp us.
