UV filters for sun care formulations

This group lists the UV filters FC Materials supplies to manufacturers of sunscreens, SPF moisturisers and other sun care products. It includes the inorganic filters zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, and organic filters such as butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, ethylhexyl triazone and polysilicone-15. Each product page gives the INCI name.

Cosmetic regulations such as the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive set a maximum concentration for each UV filter, so check the limit for every market you sell in. SPF and UVA claims depend on testing the finished product. Ask us for the specification, certificate of analysis (COA), safety data sheet and halal status of any item.
