Reishivive® is suitable for supplement brands developing premium wellness, immune balance, stress-adaptation, and healthy-aging concepts. Reishi is one of the most recognized functional mushrooms, making Reishivive® suitable as either a hero ingredient or part of a broader mushroom complex.
As a branded ingredient, Reishivive® can help manufacturers create stronger differentiation compared with generic Reishi extract, especially for premium capsule, tablet, powder, sachet, and functional beverage products.
Key Positioning
- Branded Reishi extract
- Premium Ganoderma lucidum ingredient
- Suitable for immune, wellness, and healthy-aging concepts
- Can be used as a standalone hero ingredient or in mushroom blends
- Official distributor in Malaysia: FC Materials
Triterpenes and polysaccharides
Reishivive® is based on reishi (Ganoderma lucidum, lingzhi). Reishi has two main groups of compounds: bitter triterpenes such as ganoderic acids, which are extracted mainly with alcohol, and polysaccharides including beta-glucans, which are extracted with hot water. The extraction method decides the balance, so ask for both figures and the methods used.
Fruiting body, spores or mycelium
Reishi products are made from fruiting bodies, spores (often “broken-wall” spore powder) or mycelium grown on grain, and these are not interchangeable. Confirm which part Reishivive® uses. Mushrooms take up heavy metals such as cadmium and lead from their substrate, so ask for heavy metal results on every lot.
Evidence and claims
The research summary on FC’s generic Reishi Mushroom Extract page covers what human trials have found for reishi. Wellness and immune positioning must stay within the claims allowed in your market. For Reishivive® specifications, WhatsApp us.

- Species (Latin name) and the part used: fruiting body, mycelium or sclerotium; for mycelium, the growth substrate
- Extraction solvent (water, ethanol or both), extraction ratio and any carrier with its percentage
- Beta-glucan by an enzymatic method (for example the Megazyme method), reported separately from total polysaccharides
- Starch or alpha-glucan (high values point to grain substrate or carrier rather than mushroom)
- Triterpenes (for example ganoderic acids) with the method
- Loss on drying, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) and pesticide residues
- Microbiology: total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella
- Batch number, manufacture and retest dates
